Happy New Year to Everyone!!

Hi to All - and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Well, here we go, a brand New Year - 2011. I always love the start of a New Year, it brings back memories of getting new books and pencils for school, and helping my Dad cover them neatly, then Dad would use a penknife to take a bit of wood off of the pencil to neatly write my name on them all. I can still "smell" that fresh clean "new" smell of books, stationery, pencils, pencil cases, new lunch boxes, a new school bag (sometimes) and the feel of a crisp Summer uniform, freshly washed and ironed. Here in Australia we would always start our school year in the Summer, so it was often quite hot. I have some great memories of new classrooms, freshly painted, and everything feeling clean and new somehow.
Well, I guess one of my New Year's Resolutions is to try to finish some of my UFO's - and so I have joined a new blog run by Dawn and Wendy, called Sew Its Finished. So click on that name, go find it, and see if you would like to join in too. The aim is to get some motivation from each other to finish off some UFO's this year, and clean out that cupboard where all the UFO's are lurking, squished together, waiting for a bit of love and attention.
