New Background

Well, I ended up giving up on the background I had before - it just didnt want to play nicely, so I sent it home.
I have been looking at various blog backgrounds for about an hour now, and it is 12.30am and I am tired, so this one will do for the time being. If you like it though, let me know as I might keep it.
I remember when I created my first blog with the help of Khris from Sew Prim Khris, and I was really happy with the background I chose at that time, and Khris said to me, "Oh, dont bother too much, as you will want to change your backgrounds lots of times." Well, I thought... "No I wont, I like this one"..... but isnt it amazing how quickly I changed my mind!!
Along came Christmas so I thought a Chrismassy one would be nice, and then Christmas was gone, so I wanted to find a pretty one again, and that was where my "problems" began!!
Oh, how I wish I had saved the html code of the very first background I had, as I really did like that one, and now I cant remember which company I got it from. Oh well, never mind, this one will do in the mean time.
We are well into our "de-cluttering" to get our home ready to put on the market, and I am amazed at how much STUFF we have accumulated over the past 17 years!! OMG!!
We have been getting help, thank heavens, as we could not possibly do all this by ourselves.
It is a MAMMOTH task, and I NEVER want to move again - I mean, once we move into our new house - that's it - I am leaving that place in a pine box!!!
Well, I hope that is the case, as with life, one never knows what is in store - just thinking about those poor people in Queensland makes me realise that I have it easy really. At least we do have another house to go to, and we havent lost everything like many of them..... I dont know how they manage to keep going really, it must be so devastating.
So anyway, my blog background is the least of my worries at the moment.
Talk again soon - Hugs n Blessings from Sue xx

  1. I like your new background. Doesn't it take forever to set up your blog? You did a great job. I can sympathize with your trying to get through all the "stuff" that accumulates in a home. I've been trying to get rid of some of the "stuff" that has been piling up around my home. Good luck.

  3. Thankyou ladies! Yes, I do think this one is quite fresh looking too. Maybe I will keep it for a while, as I said it is pretty low on my priority list at the moment! ...lol...
Thanks for the good luck with getting our house ready for sale, I will be SO glad when all this is over - we are praying that it sells on the first Open Inspection (AND for the money we want too!!) :0)

  6. I love this new background, and I do find the type colour is much easier to read on the lilac than it was on the green.

Good to hear you are making progress on the "stuff" clearing, and that you have help with it.

  7. Thankyou Sue, yes I think it is easier to read the wording on this colour background too. It has grown on me now, so I think I will keep it for a while. Thanks for your comment. Hugs n Blessings from Sue x
